Thank you for understanding the factors that fall out of our control, like shipping delays or made-to-order pieces that take a bit more than expected. I always work to help you get your order as soon as possible.

Please note that I am doing my best to keep all my clients happy, to deliver as quick as possible.

 

ORDER PROCESSING

In general, orders are processed within 5 business days from the time you place your order. Please note that all orders received after 2pm (GMT+2) on a Friday and over the weekend or bank holidays are processed the following working day.  Other delays with couriers are out of our control.

You will receive a notification with a tracking number, when your order is shipped. Every order is carefully covered with tissue paper and bubble wrap, eliminating the danger or any scratches or folds.

 

DELIVERY TIMES

Standard shipping within France : 3-5 business days*

Standard shipping within Europe: 4-7 business days *

Standard shipping to America, Asia, or Oceania: 8-15 business days* Some countries can take up to 30 days.

* Some products are made to order and can take up to 4 weeks to create (if that’s the case, you will see a note in the product description), please be patient.

*Please note that some items are stored in different cities, so, depending on your order, you could receive different deliveries. Most of our products are shipped from Biarritz, France, but some can come from other locations.

 

IMPORT TAXES

Orders are subject to duties and taxes determined by the country to which they are shipped.

These fees are the responsibility of the recipient to pay upon delivery and are not included in the product(s) price. These charges are at the customers own expense.

UMAMADE has no control over processing times or duty rates by Customs in each country.

If by any reason you want to return or exchange your item, ANY DUTIES PAID WON’T BE REFUNDED.

All customs duties, taxes or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Umamade is required to accurately declare the value of international orders on the relevant customs forms and on the indicated packing slip.

Occasionally, customs delays do occur. The amount and types of duties, as well as the other customs information, can be obtained by contacting UPS, Fedex or your local post office.

We have added an icon under each product that indicates its shipping origin. Please check this before placing your order. By placing your order you understand that import taxes may occur.

 

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

Please note, unless the product is faulty we do not accept refunds. If you wish to return your order, we will give you a gift voucher for the amount of your purchase that you can use on another order 

All discounted sales are final and pre-order or made to order pieces cannot be cancelled.

Any claim for shortage in supply or damage to the items ordered must be notified to Umamade within 5 days of receiving the goods. Claims after this period cannot be accepted.

At the event of when a product is sold out, Umamade has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best way.

If you wish to cancel your order, please do it before 24h after order confirmation.

MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR RETURNS, CANCELATIONS OR EXCHANGES. PLEASE CHECK IF YOUR ORDER INCLUDES A CUSTOM MADE ITEM.

As we are a small company, we are not able to offer free returns or exchanges,  however if the product is faulty or damaged, we will off course cover the cost of the shipping.


Returns requests are accepted within 7 BUSINESS DAYS of receiving your parcel – items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, unused, with all original tags attached and associated designer packaging in original condition

We ask you to ship the item back with a trusted courier such as UPS, DHL or FEDEX, we are not responsible for any lost packages due to LOCAL POST OFFICES like DPD, Colissimo, or others. 

 

CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF RETURN SHIPPING.

Umamade is not responsible for any returns lost in transit – it is recommended you include tracking and insurance for your protection. Products must be returned to their origin, whether this is official address or the designer’s studio elsewhere. You can see the country of origin in each product description.

Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, they will be checked over prior to receiving approval for store credit. Once approved, your return will be processed.  ORIGINAL SHIPPING COSTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

If your order had free shipping, this cost will still be deducted from your refund.

ART PRINTS

All the art prints will be printed, packed & shipped by LamaFactory in Paris – a printing and framing studio that uses high-quality materials to ensure the printings are illustrations

Every order is carefully covered with tissue paper and bubble wrap, eliminating the danger of any scratches or folds.

Delivery time may vary from 1 to 10 days depending on location. All orders are trackable.

 

TATTOO PERMITS

A tattoo permit is a digital PDF document that grants the permit holder the non-exclusive, one time use right to get their chosen illustration as a permanent tattoo. Umamade delivers them personally by e-mail, once the order has been placed.
